FLUID CLEANER
Derrick Equipment, the technological leader in solids control, now offers a compact, linear motion shale shaker that is powered by a single 2.5 hp motor. Much like Derrick's premium Flo-Line Cleaner series, the Fluid Cleaner 313 offers extraordinary performance while minimizing footprint and weir height.
The FC 313 is powered by a single 2.5 horsepower Derrick "greased-for-life" explosion-proof motor which operates at either 1450 or 1750 RPM, depending on voltage requirements. This motor operates at a continuous 5.0 G's of force for excellent shaker performance. The sealed bearing system eliminates the need for a lubrication system which reduces maintenance requirements and repair costs.
The FC 313 is capable of running three 36" X 30" PWP™, Pyramid™, or Pyramid Plus screens which are capable of making separations as fine as 43 microns. When fitted with three Derrick Pyramid screens, the FC 313 has the following area available for screening per API RP 13 E: 20.1 sq. ft. with the Pyramid screen and 28.8 sq. ft. with the Pyramid Plus.
The FC 313 AWD is manually operated by a simple hand wheel that enables one person to quickly and easily raise or lower the screen basket from -1° to +5°. As drilling rates and formation or mud properties change, the angle of the screen deck can be adjusted to achieve proper solids conveyance and fluid end points. Increased capacity, longer screen life, and optimal solids removal efficiency are the results.
Derrick offers an in-line desilter manifold mounted over the vibrating deck with the ability to hold either 5 (300 GPM), 10 (600 GPM) or 20 (1200 GPM) 4" hydrocyclones. This allows the FC 313 to be used as either a high performance mud cleaner or as a means to reclaim the liquid discharged from the cone underflow. The cone underflow can be directed to either the vibrating deck or to discard. Derrick's uni-body 4" hydrocyclone can be manufactured with an optional ceramic liner for increased durability.
The feeder consists of a 20 gallon back tank where the mud flows over a kwonda weir and onto the shaker basket. The weir height for the unit is a mere 28-1/2 inches. The bypass wheel offers a quick opening gate that can be opened to bypass the shaker. The Fluid Cleaner is also available with a top feed
